When do I call FYI Property Inspection?
When you have decided upon a house in the El Paso area that suits your needs, you will want to schedule a home inspection to gain a full understanding of the property.

FYI Property Inspection will then provide you with a thorough and knowledgeable written report helping you to understand the condition of the home so that you can proceed with confidence.

What information is included in a home inspection?
The inspector's findings will be provided to you in a written report describing these visible items and more.

How long does it take?
The average inspection takes from two to three hours, depending on the age, condition and size of the property.

Make sure your Realtor allows enough time to schedule your home inspection. Lead-time normally runs between one to four days.

Can I be there at the inspection to ask questions?
YES! We encourage our clients to be at the inspection. Questions can be answered and components can be visually observed as the inspector describes them. Your presence, however, is not a requirement.

How much does it cost?
Inspection rates are determined by the square footage and type of residence. Fees start at $150.

Will other inspections be necessary?
Yes. Persons specializing in those fields normally perform inspections such as pest control, septic tank inspection, and well water delivery and potability, solar systems, and pools. Other inspections may be suggested, based on the conditions identified in the inspection report.

Could problems arise after an inspection?
Yes, any mechanical system or appliance can fail on a spontaineous basis. "Home Warranty" plans are recommended.
